While in Havana, I thought it was a little unusual to see a vending machine selling cans of Bucanero and Cristal beer for 1.15 convertible pesos each - or about $1.44 U.S. Then I saw this Web site, showing Japanese vending machines peddling everything from eggs and umbrellas to 10-kilo bags of rice, fishing bait, flowers, whiskey, designer condoms and, yes, "used" panties, below.
Holy crap! What's that all about?
