The caterpillar woman

If only I had wings...

More than 15,000 kinds of insects can be found in Cuba, including this little creature.
There are also "54 species of mammals, 350 species of birds, 106 reptiles, 42 amphibians, 1,400 mollusks...and 1,440 arachnids," CubaLinda says.
Arachnids include spiders, scorpions and other invertebrates. Most are carnivorous and have eight legs. For a few I found near my home in Tarara, click here.
