Thank you. I have started to go through old CDs that contain Cuba pictures I took from 2001 to 2005. I have a ton of photos, but they're scattered all over the place - on CDs, on external drives, on my computer. One day I'd like to get them all organized. But there's never enough time.
They are still cutting. I ran into a blog for ex-employees who were let go in 2008. Also, I read several blogs of ex-DMNers like Ed Bark. The daily paper is now $1 and the Sunday is $3. And it is so expensive to subscribe as well. A viscious circle! My point is I like reading hardcopy of newspapers and books, but it looks like newspapers are diminishing daily . . . I guess you probably talk about this in your journalism classes?
Yeah, newspapers are having a tough time. I prefer reading paper vs. a computer screen, too. But I'm getting used to the screen. Probably killing my eyes.

File management is never ending!
Did the DMN shut down the Cuba bureau or did you leave to pursue other interests?
I wanted to keep the bureau open, but the paper shut it down. Management cited changing priorities and a need for budget cuts.
