Some people have poked fun at his professionalism at this time, saying that he was never organized enough to get listed in the Havana phone directory.Fidel Castro is actually not listed in the last few edition(s) of the directory produced before 1959. Raul Castro was, though. At least, according to a book I read.
Antonio,Thanks for your comment. I wonder what Fidel Castro's business card looks like now? I've interviewed Mexican politicians whose business cards contain no address, phone number or e-mail address. Just a card, a title and a fancy government seal. Maybe that's what one of Fidel Castro's cards looks like. Tracey
This may just have been his last business card. He apparently spent way more time politicking than practicing law anyway, especially in the period leading up to the 1952 elections. Of course, the elections never happened because of the Batista coup. The rest is history.
