Interview with Rosa Baez

Pro-government blogger Rosa Baez
Rosa Baez worked for Cuba's National Library for 35 years. Now she operates a pro-government blog called La Polilla Cubana from her second-floor apartment in Villa Panamericana, east of Havana.
See a 20-minute interview with her on the Cuba Money Project's Vimeo channel.
Baez is a critic of Yoani Sanchez and other young bloggers whose opposition to the socialist government has brought them international attention. She contends that Sanchez - "esa muchachita" or that little girl, as she calls her, is undeserving her her international fame. And I would imagine that Baez's views infuriate the blogger's loyal followers.
Undeterred, Baez says foes of the Cuban revolution are "mediocre people. Bad people."
