Interests Section goes nuts over screws

U.S. Interests Section spending per year for fuel, furniture, equipment, paint and other supplies has varied greatly over the past 10 years, hitting a peak of $1.4 million in 2006.
Budget documents show everything from air conditioners and plumbing equipment to the curious purchase of $3,548.76 in screws from a Lake Forest, Ill., hardware company in April 2012.
