Pigeons as photo props

Funny, you forgot the most famous pigeon in Cuba. The white pigeon that landed on Fidel's shoulders when he arrived in Havana in 1959.

That's right... and I'll bet the CIA wishes it had somehow packed that pigeon with C-4...

I think the CIA, just like everybody else, had no idea who Fidel was.

Hey, changing topics a little, I saw a story in the news a few days ago that jogged my memory on a bit of Cuba trivia. So Obama is considering a new chief of the FBI at the moment (not Cuba related). Did you know that J. Edgar Hoover was going to be fired from the FBI, until a Cuban changed the course of history. I will email you more, I hope you consider making it a blog post.
