The Department of State is sponsoring a $5 million program to help train 250 entrepreneurs from Cuba and other nations in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The entrepreneurs will take part in a five- to six-week program aimed at boosting their work and forging lasting ties with their counterparts in the U.S.
Some 30 of their counterparts from the U.S. will travel to Latin America and the Caribbean to continue working with the fellows on individual or joint projects.
Applications for the Special Professional Fellows Program for Latin America and the Caribbean are due Dec. 28. See details here.
