Human hair grows an average of a half inch every month, according to thehairstyler.com. So this young lady in Cuba has evidently been growing her hair for some time. While in Cuba, I heard stories of young women who would supposedly cut their hair and sell it. If that's true - and I never confirmed it - this girl's locks would probably fetch a pretty penny.

People grow long hair and cut it for profit all around the world, including in the US, Tracey. I have several stores where I live that sell it.
Good point. I think I need to buy some of that hair. I'm getting a little thin on top, if you know what I mean.
