Evan, I don't know who the women are. I was at Playa Santa Maria, east of Havana, and spotted them posing for someone else, probably one of their dates. So I guess I was poaching on someone else's shot. I was struck by the way they just put on the hats and started posing. The pictures are pretty old. I think they must go back to at least the year 2000 or maybe to the late '90s. I shot them in color negative film and scanned the negatives. It looks like some of the color may have faded. Tracey
