Rare British motorcycle spotted in Varadero

This is a Matchless motorcycle. These British machines were made from 1899 to 1966. This model was parked near the beach in the seaside town of Varadero.

It must be quite difficult for Cubans to maintain such vintage machines. From previous discussion with you, I also know that there is also a Harley Davidson subculture in Cuba. I would find it interesting to know how Cubans keep up the maintenence on their antique motorcycles and cars. (Side Note: I think that this is also a ggod comparison between how American and Cubans value personal property. Many Americans can't maintain vehicles over 10 years old even with the proper parts available to them.)

that's a great point. we Americans get so spoiled. we need to have everything new. we can learn from how Cubans conserve and preserve everything.
